Most of our palm free soap recipes have: distilled water, olive oil, organic coconut oil, rice bran oil, organic shea butter, mango or cocoa butter, castor oil and avocado oil. Often we infuse olive oil with flowers, plants or seeds. These infused oils are then added to various soaps. To increase the moisturizing ability of our soaps we may add aloe vera, coconut milk, clay, tea, avocado or fruit pulp such as mango or papaya. Additional ingredients include sodium hydroxide (lye), sodium lactate (liquid salt to harden soap) and rosemary oleoresin extract (a natural extract from the leaves of the rosemary plant) which is a natural antioxidant. The ingredients for each bar can be found listed on the soap's profile.
No we do not use any of these ingredients. Our commitment is to use nature's finest ingredients. We take great care to make each batch delivering freshness and quality to our products.
Yes and No. Yes lye is added to the oils and ingredients when a batch is made. However, there is no lye(sodium hydroxide) in our soaps once they have gone through the curing process which takes 4-6 weeks. Lye is necessary to make soap, however when the lye is used up in the saponification process (a chemical reaction between lye and fatty acids in the oils and butters) a completely different substance is made....SOAP.
Yes honey. We enjoy adding manuka honey or raw unfiltered honey to a couple of our soap recipes. All our other soaps are vegan and contain no animal products.
Yes, they are. We never test on animals. We only test our products on willing friends and family.
We use a variety of soap molds which are all different shapes and sizes. The soaps vary in dimensions . They weigh between 2.3 oz to 4.8 oz. Our soaps that are poured into a rectangular mold are 3 1/8" across, 1" wide with variations in height and weight. These soap bars range in weight from 3.5 oz - 5.45 oz

We live in a small city called Chico, which is located in Northern California. If you live in the county, after placing your order select the option "local Chico" in the shipping box. That means you will not be charged for shipping and may pick it up. It takes 1-3 business days to fill and order. We will email you when your order is ready to be picked up.
No we do not, but we do sell our products at "Made in Chico."
Normally each order goes out between 1-3 business days. If your order is placed over the weekend the business days would begin on Monday. If it's a holiday weekend it would start Tuesday. Orders placed for holidays will take longer. We will update the expected time frame.

Due to the personal nature of bathing products we are unable to accept returns or refund items that have been sent. It is important to read the ingredients in each item before selecting it. Avoid products that your body may have a reaction to, as we are unable to accept a return due to an allergic reaction or a fragrance preference. Of course if the return request is a result of our error ( you received an incorrect item or it is defective) there will be free returns and exchanges. The exchange and return needs to be within 7 days to get the refund. Yes if the issue is ours, we will pay for the return shipping.
Please contact us and report the problem within 3 days. Images of the damaged box and/or products must be provided for us to file an insurance claim with USPS. Once we receive the report and photos we will ship a new product as ordered.

Yes, we want you to be 100% satisfied. You may return your items, unopened, un-used and in re-sellable condition within 3 days from when you received them. We will exchange it for another item of your choice. You will be responsible for the shipping costs. Before you send the items back, contact us for return authorization and we will guide you from there.
